National Environmental Museum and Education Center
The National Environmental Museum and Education Center highlights significant environmental history events and agency milestones dating back to the EPA's founding in 1970. It contains historical and scientific artifacts, interactive displays and video screens containing numerous stories and videos for individualized viewing. The museum is free and open to the public, Tuesday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is adjacent to the Federal Triangle Metro stop.
